Dorothy Lane
Market Co op

2025
Graphic designer, marketing team, print and digital

During my co-op I worked directly with the creative director and marketing team on in-store graphics and branding, as well as digital assets. As well as everyday tasks, I managed two large event projects: The annual 5k and the annual lobster sale.

Good Neighbor 5k

What is it?

The store partners with Up and Running, a local business, to organize a family-friendly 5k run. Proceeds go towards The Food Bank.

The design needed to communicate a fun, welcoming activity, and reflect the combined branding of both Dorothy Lane Market and that of the event.

My Role

In charge of the full look and branding for the annual event, including both print and digital assets.

Created several hand-drawn and digital graphics as the yearly branding for the event’s marketing. The final concept needed to be applied to physical, digital, and web elements.

Process & Concepts

Concepts (3)

Three final concepts for the event branding.

  • A neutral concept that fits the event

  • A family oriented concept, showcasing a character featuring the stores infamous items while typing back to the food donations.

  • A simple yet refined concept that matches the stores brand voice, reflected through the hand drawn touch.

Final Deliverables

Lobstermania

What is it?

Lobstermania is a popular first-come, first-served annual event at Dorothy Lane Market, with lines out the door for fresh lobster.

The design needed to convey the exciting nature of the event and the fleeting lobsters. Utilized the provided graphics to design consistent posters, ads, and banners for the event.

My Role

In charge of creating both print and digital assets to promote the event in addition to large scale banners to hang on event day.
