OSU Medical Center Co-op

2026
Environmental branding intern for the medical center's space planning team.

During my co-op I worked on a range of projects both independently and on teams. Some of these included: field measuring and creating floorplans, photography curation, graphics creation, prototyping, and assisting with/observing installations.

88 Counties Project-Inpatient Corridors

What is it?

In 2026, the new University Hospital tower opened. Prior to opening, I worked on a team project spanning 14+ floors. The 88 counties project places framed images from all of Ohio’s counties throughout these floors.

My Role

  • Working with another intern to field verify and measure 14+ inpatient floors

  • Managing and cataloging 600+ images digitally and physically

  • Creating photo collections for each floor and wall

  • Working with another intern to create a prototype for patients to view all the imagery on room tvs.

Staff & Stretcher Entrance Hall Branding

What is it?

Using existing phrasing/assets (imagery and logos), created concepts for corridors in the hospitals.

  • Staff motivation

  • Hospital history/timelines

Harding Hospital Safe Tree Graphics

What is it?

Created a tree graphic and matching icon set for the behavioral hospital. Patients each get a ‘leaf’ (icon) to place on the tree, changed seasonally.

Additional Graphics

Created a ‘word wall’ using OSU marketing words. The graphic is meant to add subtle texture to large wall spaces.
