Coachella Rebrand
Created a poster with three related social posts advertising the annual Coachella music festival held in the Colorado Desert. The poster design focused on the nightly event only. This is reflected in both the graphics and the integration of a moonflower in the existing Coachella logo.
Marketing played a key role in the development of the poster. Utilized many different techniques in photoshop to create an image that fully immerses the audience in Coachella’s environment.
Inspiration
Logo
The new branding for the event features Coachella at night. Integrated a rare moonflower, native to the Colorado Desert, that only blooms at night to communicate the exclusivity of the event at night. The moonflower also reflects the abstract art featured at Coachella.

Final Poster Components
The final poster began with a simple sky backdrop and was built up from there. It utilizes a combination of photography, textures, stock imagery, and photoshop work to create a poster that shows its audience why they should attend the event.
Applications
There are three social media posts to go with the poster, giving viewers just enough to spark interest. Each post was done for a different target audience, as shown below from left to right.
(1) People familiar with Coachella
(2) Fans of art and music
(3) An attention grabber to appeal to anyone, especially those unfamiliar with the event.
