During my co-op at Dorothy Lane Market, I was responsible for the design of the annual Good Neighbor 5k event and assisted in the design of the Lobstermania event.

Good Neighbor 5k

The store partners with Up and Running, a local business, to organize a family-friendly 5k run. Proceeds go towards The Food Bank.

The design needed to communicate a fun, welcoming activity, and reflect the combined branding of both Dorothy Lane Market and that of the event.

Created several hand-drawn and digital graphics as potential images for the event’s marketing. The final concept needed to be applied to physical, digital, and web elements.

Started by reviewing Dorothy Lane Market’s brand book and materials from past races. The store’s most well known foods that are crucial to its brand were also considered.
